Apprentice Electrical Maintenance Engineer

What You'll Do

Main Duties:

• Assist in breakdowns including troubleshooting; problem solving; and preventative maintenance
• Carry out preventative maintenance under the supervision of an experienced engineer
• Ensure equipment and operating procedures are correct
• Oversee electrical devices while in operation to understand components
• Carry out routine testing on electrical devices where necessary
• Assist the team with the assembly of electrical components
• Opportunity to enhance earnings and knowledge
• Ensure a high level of housekeeping in the workshop and shop floor

Training Outcome

• For apprentices who complete their qualification and show commitment to the work we will take them into full-time employment and offer to progress them to a higher apprenticeship

Qualifications

• Desired - GCSE - 5 subjects incl Maths + English - 4 and above
