Apprentice Data Quality Assistant

The post holder will support other colleagues to ensure that the Trust PAS is populated with accurate and timely data. Provide support for the validation process for Service Level Agreements (SLA) / Non-Contracted Activity (NCA) commissioner queries. Improve the Trusts NHS Number completeness by investigating and correcting patient records where no NHS number is present Check national database and other verified data sources for correct patient details (NHS number, address, postcode, DoB etc) and update onthe Trust PAS Dealing with monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Non-Contracted Activity (NCA) validation queries within set timetable Use initiative and all available tools to establish the correct identity of the patient and update systems accordingly To work with colleagues in Information checking and correcting data quality items To ensure all data held on Trust systems is at the highest quality To identify problem areas relating to data quality and make recommendations for
improvement Assist in the production and distribution of guidelines and procedures regarding data quality Assist in the implementation of any necessary changes within Data Quality which impact on the Trust PAS. Undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate within the Department.
