Apprentice Chef From £27,989 per year
Catering with impact. You will train to be an Army Chef and:
- Provide everything from fine dining and state banquets to humanitarian aid and disaster relief
- Be part of a highly respected, specialist team
- Give soldiers the energy and morale they need to complete any mission
- Achieve the highest culinary standards in the most challenging environments
- Gain qualifications up to degree level in food, hygiene, and health and safety
Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify, you must be between 16 years 6 months and 35 years 6 months and pass a basic fitness test.

- During your initial training, you'll earn £27,282
- Potential to reach Corporal within 5 years, earning £40,989

Set yourself up for life. During your initial training, youll earn £27,282. If you set your mind to it, you could reach Corporal within 5 years, earning £40,989. Youll also receive 30 days annual leave every year (plus bank holidays and extra leave after operations), free medical and dental care, cheaper living costs, and free gym and sports facilities. And unless you're away on operations or training exercises, you'll normally
