Apprentice Chef

As well as our 2 culinary offerings, we cater for meetings and events whilst hosting elite sports teams, along with bespoke celebrations.

You do not need to arrive as an experienced chef. What matters most is that you bring enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to learn . We will support you in developing the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to build your career within hospitality, whilst supporting you with your NVQ level 2 training on site. No previous professional kitchen experience is essential. We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in food and developing a career as a chef.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn.
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Can follow instructions and has good attention to detail.
• Is comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
• Understands the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Is willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the business.
• Is committed to completing the required apprenticeship training and qualification.
During your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in:
• Food preparation and professional cookery.
• Knife skills and preparation techniques.
• Cooking methods and presentation.
• Food hygiene and allergen awareness.
• Kitchen health and safety.
• Stock rotation and reducing food waste.
• Working efficiently during busy service periods.
• Communication and teamwork within a professional kitchen.
