Introduction
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Apprentice Bricklayer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop practical skills, gain industry experience and work towards a recognised bricklaying qualification.
About the Employer
A small bricklaying comp0any working across the north east on various projects.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced bricklayers with day-to-day construction work.
Learn to lay bricks, blocks and other masonry materials. - Prepare and mix mortar and other materials.
- Measure and mark out work areas accurately.
- Learn how to read and understand basic construction drawings.
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard.
- Attend college or training sessions as required as part of the apprenticeship.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as required by the site team.
