Introduction
Radius Systems is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Application Engineer to join its Technical Team.This exciting apprenticeship combines practical workplace experience with college-based learning, allowing you to develop the technical knowledge, engineering skills and professional behaviours needed for a successful career.

What You'll Do
You will work closely with the product technical support, product development, compliance, marketing and commercial teams to gain an in depth understanding of the following:
- Pipeline material selection, using your engineering skills to determine the most appropriate material for a given application
- Pipeline design and installation
- The provision of product technical support to Radius Systems customers and Radius Systems Internal Teams
- Product quality control – to gain an understanding of the manufacturing and quality procedures used in the manufacture of Radius Systems products
- Product compliance to understand the product approval process
- Product field support, in the correct installation of Radius Systems products including field troubleshooting
- Marketing in the development of product and technical support literature, with a key emphasis on ‘clarity of information’
- Where required, you may also experience business functions outside of Engineering, such as Finance, Customer Service, Quality, Applications, and Sales to gain a full understanding of our business
Training Outcome
- You will progress onto HNC/D and will have the opportunity to apply for a bachelor’s degree post-apprenticeship
