Apprentice Air Freight Support

Introduction

You will learn all operational functions involved in exporting and importing of different types of cargo to and from global markets - specifically in the Air freight market.

You will also complete the International Freight Forwarder Specialist L3 qualification to support you with the knowledge required for the role.

What You'll Do

Day to day tasks will include:

• Arranging for air freight shipments to be placed and positioned at specific times
• Booking space on planes for Air Freight shipments
• Creating and modifying required documentation
• Submitting customs entries
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and international agents
• Ensuring invoices (both received and sent) are accurate
• Providing a strong level of customer service throughout
