What You'll Do

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the school office
  • Entering and updating pupil, staff and school data on administrative systems
  • Answering telephone calls and taking messages
  • Greeting visitors, parents and external professionals in a professional manner
  • Managing incoming and outgoing emails
  • Filing, scanning, photocopying and distributing documents
  • Assisting with the preparation of letters, reports and school communications
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Supporting attendance and admissions administration processes
  • Ordering and monitoring office supplies and resources
  • Assisting with diary management and meeting arrangements
  • Providing administrative support to staff, pupils and families as required


Training Outcome

  • On completion you can progress into permanent role as an Administrator or progress on to another higher-level apprenticeship
