Apprentice Admin and Clerical - Department of Medicine

We are recruiting for a full time Apprenticeship in Admin and Clerical alongside SBC training in Shrewsbury to undertake a Business Administration Level 3 for 18 months. At the end of 18 months there will be an end point assessment.

The role is to assist in providing a comprehensive and professional audit typing service to clinical staff in the Trust, in conjunction with other secretaries working within the Team. The role will include audio typing and liaising as necessary with other staff in the Team., Typing of DEXA reports, clinic letters to patients and other healthcare professionals with accuracy and attention to detail. Processing these letters to the patients and healthcare professionals. Checking outcomes of the clinic attendance. Answering phone. Scanning into patient's electronic patient record. Any other tasks deemed necessary as directed by the Senior Medical Secretary or admin team.

Full time hours availableMonday to Friday working days only. 6 hours per week will be protected for course work and there will be 1:1 session with a mentor.

Apprentice Pay Rates:

Aged under 19 -OR aged 19 and over AND in the first year of apprenticeship £8 per hour

Aged over 19 and have completed first year of apprenticeship

Aged 19-20 £10.85 per hour
