Introduction
An excellent opportunity to train as an accountant with a local independent accountancy practice. You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of work in the practice.
About the Employer
Flinton Lee Accountants LTD (formerly Walker & Co) are a small independent accountancy practice based in Scarborough.
What You'll Do
- Preparation of annual accounts for Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited companies
- Bookkeeping on computer software, including Sage 50, Sage Online and Quickbooks
- VAT returns
- Preparation of management accounts and making digital tax returns.
- Personal tax returns
- Partnership returns
- Corporation tax returns
- General administration, including answering the telephone as and when required
Training Outcome
Level 4 Accountancy apprenticeship. There will be the opportunity to follow a chartered qualification for the right candidate.
