Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused eRS Coordinator to join our busy Outpatient Access team. This role is responsible for coordinating and booking first outpatient appointments across the Trust's centralised booking service, using both eRS and EPIC systems. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patient access to services by managing appointment requests efficiently, monitoring worklists, escalating capacity concerns, and coordinating appointment reschedules where required. Working in a fast-paced environment, the post holder will provide a professional and responsive service while ensuring compliance with Trust policies and national waiting time guidelines.,

  • Book first outpatient appointments using eRS and EPIC systems.
  • Monitor and manage centralised worklists to ensure timely patient scheduling.
  • Escalate clinic capacity issues and support the management of appointment reschedules.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the Trust's centralised call centre, responding to enquiries and directing calls appropriately.
  • Manage Urgent, Routine, and Two Week Wait (2WW) appointment pathways in line with Trust policies and national targets.
  • Monitor and action centralised inboxes on a rota basis.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
  • Work closely with colleagues and support the Outpatient (OPAC) Supervisor in delivering an efficient booking service.
