Full Job Description

We're looking for an Application Support Advisor to provide essential technical support to front-line teams, ensuring systems and applications are used effectively and efficiently.
This role plays a key part in maintaining operational performance by managing system queries, supporting upgrades, and ensuring data accuracy across platforms. You will act as a central point of contact for support requests while working closely with internal teams and third-party providers to deliver high-quality service and continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities:
-Provide technical support to front-line teams, managing a ticketing system and ensuring timely triage and resolution in line with SLAs.
-Build, configure, and deploy PDAs for engineering teams, supporting system upgrades and ensuring smooth implementation.
-Act as a data gatekeeper, managing the creation, update, and integrity of system records in line with approval and audit requirements.
-Investigate and resolve business queries, including technical issues and user training support, while maintaining accurate documentation.
-Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to prioritise workloads, maintain operational performance, and support mobilisation activities
Strong IT skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems effectively
-Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload & strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
-Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
-Problem-solving mindset with a logical and proactive approach
-Customer-focused with a commitment to high service standards with a positive, enthusiastic "can-do" attitude
Desirable:
-Experience working within an engineering or facilities management environment
-Knowledge of Maximo or similar CAFM/asset management systems
-Experience supporting field-based teams or engineers
-Experience with system testing, upgrades, or device configuration (e.g. PDAs)
