Working closely with the matron as ward manager looking after the Antenatal and Postnatal ward. You will become part of our diverse, extraordinary team of maternity staff at Imperial. - To provide high quality, effective midwifery care that is evidence based and womancentred during the postnatal period.
- To manage a team of midwives whilst working closely with other multidisciplinarycolleagues to ensure safety outcomes and positive patient experiences are achieved.
- The post holder is also expected to be an expert clinical midwife who will give advice and guidance on the midwifery care of women and pregnant people, babies and their families.
- The post holder will provide clinical and managerial leadership for the team on Aleck Bourne 2 Ward.
- To lead and coordinate the day to day running of including multidisciplinary ward rounds.
- To work collaboratively with the Matrons to provide and develop high quality, safe andeffective service.
