A remarkable and unique opportunity has arisen at East Surrey College as we seek to appoint a Lecturer in Animal Management to teach on Level 1-2 Animal Welfare & Management, with aspirations to expand delivery to Level 3 in the near future. This role sits within a brand-new and rapidly growing department, offering the successful candidate a rare chance to shape its future. You will play a key role in the development of the curriculum, contribute to the design of new facilities, and help establish a vibrant learning environment that includes small mammals and reptiles as part of our hands-on teaching resources.     A Teaching qualification at level 3 or above
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in animal science, zoology, veterinary science, or a related field is desirable
  • Experience working in the animal management industry or a similar educational setting.
  • Previous, relevant FE teaching experience
  • Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent, Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK as we do not sponsor work permits, and work permits from other organisations are unacceptable as proof of right to work in the UK.
