Full Job Description
To provide high quality care to a number of animals based at our Rose Cottage Day Nursery to include pygmy goats, khaki Campbell ducks, chickens and guinea pigs. Responsible for:
- The job will consist of feeding the animals between 7:30am-9:30am Saturday and Sunday, and then feeding them between 6pm-7:30pm Saturday and Sunday evenings.
- A few hrs mid week clean of all animal enclosures. (this was previously done on a Wednesday)
- Whilst at the setting you will be required to ensure food and water levels are maintained along with checking that all animal areas are in working order.
- The role would require you to clean all animal areas at some point over the weekend.
- To keep a record of animal care related product such as food and bedding. Inform Nursery of what items are needed. Ensure to give enough notice.
- A key aspect will be to ensure the animals are cared for at a high level and report any concerns in relation to their health or environment to the Nursery Manager.
- Bank Holiday work required.
Someone who has the ability to communicate to managements about how the animals are - Someone who can manage animal resources and food and request replenishment when stocks run low without running out

Salary - From £26,662.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience) Hours - 6 hours per week.1 hour between 7:30am-9:30am Saturday and Sunday, and 1 hour between 6pm-7:30pm Saturday and Sunday evenings. A couple of hours mid week to clean animal enclosures.
