This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal care and wants to gain hands-on experience in a busy professional dog daycare environment, while developing their knowledge and skills within the industry.
About the Employer
Doggy Day Care Wheelock is a 5-star licensed indoor and outdoor doggy daycare facility based in Wheelock, Cheshire. Established in 2017, the purpose-built centre provides care for up to 40 dogs per day, welcoming dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments.
What You'll Do
- Providing exceptional care for dogs throughout the day.
- Ensuring high standards of animal welfare and reporting on behaviour, wellbeing and health.
- Monitoring dog behaviour, body language and group dynamics to help maintain a safe environment.
- Organising and leading enrichment activities and supporting play sessions.
- Preparing and administering feeds where required.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises. - Completing daily records and general administration.
- Managing bookings, payments and customer enquiries.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to online enquiries.
- Creating engaging social media content.
- Assisting with new dog assessments and introductions.
Training Outcome
