Full Job Description

  • Conduct financial modelling, valuation analyses, due diligence for M&A and capital raising transactions with increasing independence.
  • Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, and client presentations.
  • Research and analyze clients' financial reporting, industry, and market data and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Assist senior team members with idea generation and in all phases of M&A transaction execution including ownership of discrete workstreams.
  • Work proactively across multiple product groups and geographies.
  • Monitor trends across the Mining sector to support in deal origination and pitching.

    This role demands technical aptitude, intellectual curiosity, creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, and team-focused mindset., 2:1 or above degree (or equivalent) university qualification
  • At least 6 - 12 months of relevant work experience in investment banking or a related field
  • Experience in and / or knowledge of the Mining and / or Natural Resources sectors
  • Demonstrated experience with relevant financial modelling and valuation work
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under time pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization, including external stakeholders
  • Full alignment with TD Securities' culture and approach to risk
