Anaesthetics ST 3 practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Anaesthetics ST 3 practitioner to join a dynamic team in a busy clinical environment. In this role, you will be responsible for providing anaesthetic care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. You will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anaesthetic plans, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care. Your duties will include pre-operative assessments, administering anaesthetics, monitoring patients during procedures, and managing post-operative recovery processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care. You should have completed your Foundation Training and be in the process of, or have completed, your Core Anaesthetic Training. Knowledge of current anaesthetic techniques and guidelines is essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. You will be required to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in emergency situations. A commitment to ongoing professional development is crucial, as you will be expected to engage in educational activities and contribute to departmental teaching initiatives.
