Requirements to Become a Delivery Driver

• Valid UK driving licence
• iPhone or Android smartphone
• Mid-size vehicle with 5 seats or more
• UK National Insurance Number
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• Commercial vehicle insurance ('hire and reward' insurance)
• Background and criminal record check (including driving licence review)

No prior experience as a driver is necessary. Current Amazon employees are not eligible to become delivery partners.

You will also need a UK National Insurance Number, proof of your Right to Work in the UK, commercial vehicle insurance (also referred to as 'hire and reward' insurance) and, to pass a background and criminal record check which includes, but is not limited to, a review of driving licence records. No previous experience as a transportation driver, truck or lorry driver, taxi driver, courier driver or delivery driver is necessary.
