Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join The Dorcan Academy as Alternative Provision Manager, leading a compassionate and strategic approach to supporting students who are at risk of, or returning from, suspension. Working closely with pastoral, safeguarding and curriculum teams, the successful candidate will coordinate our short-term alternative provision, oversee targeted interventions and champion restorative and trauma-informed practice to support reintegration and long-term success. This role is about far more than behaviour management; it is about building relationships, removing barriers and ensuring every student remains connected to learning, belonging and opportunity. The position would suit a resilient, reflective and highly relational professional who believes in uncompromising equity, inclusive education and helping every young person to thrive and succeed, This is an exciting time to join our school.
