Alcohol Specialist Nurse

Provide a timely response to referrals into the Alcohol Care Team and undertake assessment using standardized assessment tools.

We are seeking a passionate Band 6 Alcohol Care Team Nurse to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Band 6 or an aspiring senior Band 5 to develop leadership skills within a specialist service. You will deliver recovery-focused care to patients with alcohol use disorders, supporting assessment, treatment, and ongoing management. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical pathways, promoting screening and brief advice, and supporting service improvement. We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about alcohol use disorders and patient-centred care
• Experienced in looking after patients with alcohol related conditions.
• Strong communication skills with trauma informed approach.
• Motivated to facilitate change .
