Air Operations Logistics Manager - Typhoon

You'll take a key role in overseeing logistics operations within the Typhoon value stream, ensuring materials, components and production flows align to deliver high-performance manufacturing. Working with ERP systems and production planning tools, you'll supervise inventory, optimise Work in Progress (WIP) and support on-time delivery across the shop floor. You'll collaborate with production, procurement and suppliers to maintain smooth operations, while identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance efficiency. Core duties:

• Executing production plans, ensuring materials and components are delivered on time to support manufacturing schedules
• Overseeing Work in Progress levels across the shop floor, maintaining flow and reducing bottlenecks
• Monitoring production orders, driving progress to meet deadlines and maintain schedule adherence
• Coordinating material flow and inventory, working with suppliers and teams to prevent shortages
• Identifying improvement opportunities, enhancing logistics processes, efficiency and overall operational performance
  
  Demonstratable experience overseeing teams within manufacturing or logistics environments, driving performance and operational delivery
• Considerable knowledge of MRP/MRPII processes within ERP systems, supporting effective planning and material coordination
• Experience in inventory management techniques such as Kanban and line-side replenishment within production settings
• Understanding of production scheduling, including Work-To-Lists and monitoring adherence to meet delivery targets
• Relevant qualifications in supply chain or project management, with ample IT skills including advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience within Machine Shop or Carbon Fibre Manufacturing environments, supporting specialised production and material flow
