Air Hygiene Supervisor

Job Overview

• As Supervisor you will work under the direct supervision of the Field Manager but will be expected to work on your own and as a part of the regional team.
• + Supervise operative(s) ensuring that they work safely, in line with the RAMS and communicate professionally with the client at all times + Carry out kitchen extract system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease + Carry out ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19 + Installation of access doors into ventilation system in accordance with DW144 + Carry out inspection of the Fire dampers in accordance with BS9999 + Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant as instructed + Follow a preventative maintenance program as instructed + Make recommendations for major repairs to the physical plant. + Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment + Maintain personal equipment & chemical stocks inventories + Submit same day service reports + Conduct and submit a pre-work risk assessment prior to every job + Conduct all works as instructed via the schedule + Follow the method statement at all times + Ensure that work is conducted safely in line with the RAMS + Ensure records are maintained + Comply with site rules, communicate professionally with on-site contacts ensuring that work methods and results are explained prior to leaving site + Leave the work area clean and tidy You will also be expected to undertake any other duties associated to the output of the Regional Team as required. • + Excellent air hygiene knowledge + Ability to operate and maintain ventilation systems + Hold a recognised qualification, not essential. + Teamwork skills + Client service skills + Personal administration skills + o Analytical and problem-solving skills o Decision making skills & negotiations skills o literacy skills including the ability to read manuals o Effective verbal and listening communications skills o Time management skills. o Complying with the requirements of the Occupational health and safety management policy. o Complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management System Policy. Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: o Ventilation systems management in accordance with TR19 o Ventilation cleaning techniques in accordance with TR19 o Fire damper testing and issue reporting in accordance with BS9999 o Access doors installation in accordance with DW144 What we are looking for
