AI Technical Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you lead hands-on development of Anaplan's Enterprise Grade AI Platform, focusing on conversational and agentic AI capabilities. You will guide a team of engineers, shaping the AI roadmap and delivering end-to-end features that enable natural-language interactions and autonomous data analysis. You collaborate with product, architecture, and platform teams to ensure scalable, high-quality AI integrations with our core infrastructure. You drive engineering excellence, CI/CD practices, and clear communication with senior stakeholders. This is a mission-driven opportunity to impact enterprise planning at scale. Pay / Benefits

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of 5-8 AI engineers to deliver high-quality AI features Drive end-to-end delivery of conversational AI capabilities enabling natural-language interactions with models Oversee development of agentic AI systems for autonomous data analysis and planning workflows Own the delivery roadmap, prioritise features with product management, manage technical trade-offs Establish engineering best practices including testing strategies, evaluation frameworks, and deployment patterns Lead sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives to sustain velocity and quality Collaborate with AI Solutions Architects to translate vision into actionable plans Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI apps with automated testing and prompt regression suites Partner with platform teams to ensure seamless integration with Anaplan's core infrastructure Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Tasks Software engineering experience with leadership of engineering teams Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications in production Deep knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI patterns Experience with agentic frameworks and autonomous agent architectures Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices (testing, code review, CI/CD) Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time with high quality Strong project management skills with Agile/Scrum experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and build cohesive teams Key requirements
