This pivotal role involves both architecting innovative applications that embed AI capabilities and leveraging AI tools and techniques to enhance the architectural design and delivery process itself. You will integrate these solutions seamlessly into complex enterprise environments to unlock new capabilities and drive business transformation. As an AI Application and Solution Architect, you will be accountable for defining the technical vision and architectural strategy for AI-enabled applications. You will lead the end-to-end solution design, from conceptualisation through to deployment, ensuring that AI components are effectively integrated, scalable, secure, and aligned with overall business objectives. Your role will involve translating business challenges into robust architectural designs for AI applications, selecting appropriate technologies, and guiding development teams through the implementation lifecycle. You will be instrumental in establishing architectural best practices for AI solution development, data flow, system interoperability, conduct technical reviews, and champion innovative approaches to leveraging AI. Additionally, you will work closely with clients, product owners, data scientists and engineering teams to deliver high-impact AI solutions.,
  • Lead the architectural design, development, and implementation of complex AI-driven applications and solutions across various business domains.
  • Define and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices for AI solution development, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Translate business requirements and use cases into comprehensive technical architectures, including data models, integration patterns, and deployment strategies for AI applications.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI technologies, platforms, tools, and frameworks, including machine learning services, cognitive APIs, and AI development environments.
  • Strategically utilise AI-powered tools and techniques (e.g., generative AI for code, architectural pattern suggestions, design automation) to accelerate and enhance the architectural design, documentation, and development processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them through architectural decisions and complex technical challenges related to AI solution delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, ethical AI and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, AI Act.)
  • Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and engineering teams to ensure architectural designs meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct architectural reviews, performance optimisation, and security assessments for AI solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, architectural patterns, and industry trends to continuously enhance our solution offerings.

    Proven experience in Senior Application or Solution Architect roles, with a strong focus on designing and implementing AI-driven applications and solutions.
  • Strong experience in designing and integrating AI components (e.g., machine learning models, natural language processing, computer vision, intelligent agents) into enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI models, Large Language Models (LLMs), and code generation tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, GPT models), and their application in solution design.
  • Proficiency in Python, experience with ML/AI frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow and PyTorch) and ML lifecycle management tools (e.g. MLFlow, KubeFlow)
  • Strong knowledge of iPaaS technologies (e.g. Mulesoft, Boomi), Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML and integration offerings.
  • Experience with data integration architectures (data lakes, ETL, streaming etc.), data governance, and security best practices relevant to AI solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment is a significant advantage.
