An exciting opportunity has arisen for a team manager to manage services in the Medicine care group. This care group covers AHP services at York hospital, Scarborough hospital and Bridlington hospital, as part of York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post will be managing York ED, General Medicine, Palliative and Admin Services based at the York hospital site. This post is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in leading and innovative development of teams and services. You will have the unique prospect of working as part of a dynamic team. A strong support network is available on site and lots of exciting development opportunities. Duties include staff management, recruitment, induction, appraisal, locality training and service development. You will also have responsibility for shift and workload allocation, as well as rota planning. Support will be available from senior AHP managers and other team managers, as well as clinical advice from advanced clinical specialists in this area and professional leads., As part of seeking to become more inclusive, we will consider requests for flexible working from the start of your employment. A relevant degree or equivalent with current HCPC registration is essential. The successful candidate will have a broad range of post graduate experience, with at least some in a relevant clinical area and should include working at a senior level, and taking responsibility for other members of staff.
