Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Agile Delivery Manager to lead an in-house Digital Services Team for our vibrant city's local government.   • Work in partnership with Delivery Managers for multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams to deliver excellent new products.
  • Lead the successful delivery of complex digital transformation initiatives.
  • Embed Agile ways of working across teams, coaching, and mentoring delivery and key stakeholders to build an Agile culture that enhances collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Build, maintain, and execute a realistic, deliverable, and integrated end-to-end implementation plan for digital services and automation solutions, identifying key milestones, dependencies, and risks.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation-driven solutions, leveraging platforms such as MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or other suitable tools, ensuring technology adoption drives efficiency and service improvements.

    Extensive experience in an Agile Delivery Manager (or equivalent senior leadership) role, driving complex organisational change.
  • Ability to embed Agile culture across teams and departments fostering high-performance environments.
  • Strong track record of the successful delivery and management of high-quality digital products/services.
  • Experience of representing a group of customers, resolving their competing priorities.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently articulate the rationale for product and service decisions.
  • Enthusiasm for working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled at appropriately challenging the accepted way of doing things, eliciting innovative solutions.
