Full Job Description
- Oversee the planning, preparation and presentation of the afternoon tea programme, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.
- Lead, coach and schedule a diverse team, fostering collaboration and encouraging bold ideas while maintaining accountability for performance.
- Maintain meticulous inventory control of teas, pastries, and serviceware, optimising stock levels and reducing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations, demonstrating honesty and responsibility in all procedures.
- Actively listen to guest feedback and team suggestions, using curiosity and continuous improvement to refine the offering.
- Communicate clearly and frequently with staff and management, balancing operational demands with a focus on the guest experience.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues promptly, always putting the customer first and upholding our commitment to exceptional service.
Proven supervisory experience in a high-end hospitality or catering environment, preferably with a focus on tea service. - Strong knowledge of a wide range of teas, pastries and presentation techniques, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen to ideas and opinions, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, budgets and health & safety compliance with accountability and honesty.
- Creative problem-solving mindset, showing boldness and curiosity in enhancing the guest experience.
- Flexibility to work afternoons and occasional weekends, balancing operational needs with personal commitments.
