After School Club Assistants

The postholder will assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of structured and unstructured play activities that meet children's individual developmental needs. They will work directly with children to support participation, positive engagement and appropriate behaviour, following school policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children aged 4-11 and an understanding of good quality childcare. They will be reliable, responsible and able to work effectively as part of a team. They will have good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to organise time effectively and a proactive, flexible and adaptable approach to work. An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and a First Aid certificate are required.
