Aerospace & Defence - Consultant / Senior Consultant
Locations: Glasgow, Newcastle Bank House, Manchester, Bristol, London
Your role:
Our clients in defence and aerospace are facing unprecedented change, facing into a world of uncertainty and increasing risk. Within Europe alone we are witnessing a significant rearmament phase, driven by geopolitical shifts and increasing investments across the defence landscape.
We are seeking talented consulting professionals to join our growing defence and aerospace team within Capgemini Invent. As a key member of our team, you will work with colleagues and partners to build and deliver solutions for our clients that enable them to increase their defence outputs, drive efficiency, and utilise the latest enabling digital technologies.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both client and personal growth by engaging in activities including:
- Developing new client solutions by working across Capgemini to bring together a unique combination of tech-enabled, people-centred, and output-centric solutions.
- Shaping project outcomes that enable Capgemini to deliver major programmes linked to client challenges.
- Working with colleagues across Capgemini to deliver business areas including customer experience, digital, and engineering offerings.
- Operating as a delivery owner on major defence programmes, including shaping proposals, designing parts of transformation programmes, and rolling up your sleeves to see changes delivered through front-line, on-site implementation.
- Developing both yourself, your team, and your clients to continually improve and push the boundaries of what is possible. Humility is a key value within Capgemini, seen as a foundation for self-learning and development.
Your profile:
We are seeking consultants with the following experience:
- Proven background in a consulting environment where you have delivered parts of transformation programmes, ideally for Aerospace and Defence major clients
- AI curiosity and ideally experience in creation of AI-augmented propositions
- Experience being client-facing and developing client relationships, fostering trust and building credibility across your domain of expertise
- Curiosity and interest in defence programmes and experience solving problems in areas across the enterprise, which could cover either the public and/or private sector
- Passion for solving your clients' most pressing challenges, achieving tangible outcomes through a mix of technical expertise and strong people skills
- Knowledge of tracking and delivering outcomes for clients and the ability to deliver change management capabilities needed to engage clients on delivering outcomes and sustaining results
- Ability to work within teams and manage individuals, demonstrating integrity and humility to engage a diverse group of talent and bring out the best performance for our clients
- Declare a disability, if applicable
- Meet the minimum essential criteria for the role
We're also focused on using technology to have a positive social impact. We are working to reduce our carbon footprint and improve access to a digital world, recognized as one of the world's most ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute for the 10th year.
Joining Capgemini means being part of a team that does the right thing. While the office base locations include London, Manchester, or Glasgow, full flexibility for assignment locations is required, including periods away from home at short notice.
We offer a remuneration package with flexible benefits options tailored to personal circumstances and a variable component based on grade and performance.
