We are seeking an experienced, credible and values-driven Advanced Practitioner / Clinical Lead to provide senior clinical leadership across Remote Patient Care, spanning both 999 and 111 services. This role is central to ensuring that patients receive consistently high-quality, safe and effective care in a remote environment, where clinical decision-making is complex, dynamic and often high-risk. This is a highly influential role for an expert clinician who understands the unique challenges of delivering care remotely-including clinical uncertainty, digital triage systems, risk management and shared decision-making without face-to-face assessment. You will be a visible advocate and champion for remote clinical practice, promoting professional standards, evidence-based care and continuous learning across the Remote Patient Care workforce. Working as a senior member of the Remote Patient Care leadership team, you will provide expert clinical oversight, supervision and mentorship to clinicians, supporting safe practice and professional development. A key focus of the role is leading clinical education and Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-ensuring clinicians are equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence required to deliver exceptional patient-centred care in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. You will lead on clinical quality, learning and improvement, using performance data, audit, clinical case review and PSIRF-aligned learning to identify risk, share insight and drive meaningful change. Through strong collaboration with operational leaders, governance teams and education colleagues, you will help shape services that are clinically robust, compassionate and sustainable. If you are committed to kindness, respect, teamwork and improvement, and want to influence care at scale while keeping patients and clinicians at the heart of everything you do, we would welcome your application., The Advanced Paramedic (Clinical Lead) for a senior clinical post embedded in the Remote Patient Care leadership teams. Working with operational and clinical leadership teams the Advanced Paramedic - Clinical Lead is responsible for ensuring patients receive effective care by working across the 4 pillars of advancing practice including Clinical, Leadership, Research and Education The Advanced Paramedic - Clinical Lead will be responsible for clinical activity and care delivery across Remote Patient Care including both the 999 and 111 service lines. They will have a working knowledge of remote triage and consultation systems and be able to provide expert clinical advice to ensure a high level of patient care delivery on the application of these systems. They will also hold an understanding of key performance indicators, formulating, and agreeing plans for improvement which are fundamental to the role. The post holder will lead clinical developments by analysing performance data, developing plans for improvement, and leading the implementation of national, local and Trust wide clinical improvement priorities/plans. Working alongside the Governance team they will be responsible for mitigating clinical risks within remote patient care as they arise, supporting staff to remain proficient, setting priorities for education activity and working at a regional level to report themes and trends relevant to their area.
