Full Job Description
Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Help Team on a temporary basis, offering an attractive rate of £40 per hour (Umbrella). This role is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker looking to make a significant impact within our community, providing support and guidance to families in need. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring a team of social workers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of families.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support to families.
- Supervising complex cases and providing expert advice on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with council policies and procedures.
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). - Registered with Social Work England.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in social work, particularly in child protection and family support.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on partnership working.
