Full Job Description

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Help Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of families in our community. With a competitive rate of £40 per hour (Umbrella), you will be an integral part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality social work services. Your expertise will help shape best practices and support our mission to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to social work staff, ensuring a high standard of practice.
  • Conducting complex assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for families.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to coordinate support services effectively.
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced social workers, fostering professional growth.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and contributing to service development initiatives.

    Qualified Social Worker status with a valid Social Work England registration.
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in children and family services.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
