Full Job Description
The ePMA system will be designed, specified, maintained and optimised to support the safe delivery of SACT, clinical trials and non-SACT medicines, in accordance with local policies and protocols and relevant national guidance. The post holder will work closely with clinical stakeholders and technical leads to ensure the effective ongoing development and safe use of the EPR system, providing expert pharmacy and medicines-related input. The post holder will have a specific responsibility for supporting the set-up, configuration and maintenance of clinical trial treatment plans within the system. The EPR must support existing clinical workflows, integrate effectively with local working practices, and be used in a way that reflects and promotes the Trust's core values.
Essential
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Registered as a pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council Desirable
- Oncology Qualification
- Post Graduate diploma or MSc Knowledge and Expertise Essential
- Good change management
- Good pharmaceutical knowledge
- Knowledge of changing NHS environment & government initiatives
- Demonstrable appropriate post qualification hospital experience Desirable
- Evidence of managing a changing situation
- Oncology pharmacy practice experience.
- Knowledge of current & future developments in cancer treatment
- Good GCP knowledge Experience Essential
- Experience of configuring a pharmacy IT system or an EPR in a clinical environment Person Specification Qualifications Essential
