The WTWA (Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham) medicine care division is excited to offer a unique opportunity to recruit a dynamic experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work as part of our friendly and talented Frailty Team.
The successful candidate will be provided with a robust induction and personal development plan to meet their professional development needs.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will strive to deliver high quality care to all patients. This role will be pivotal in providing clinical expertise in the delivery of the future models of care for greater Manchester.
ACP's will be given an educational and clinical Consultant supervisor who will provide guidance and feedback whilst developing your portfolio, working towards the 4 pillars of advanced practice, enhancing your clinical skills providing safe patient care. All ACP's at MFT are supported to participate and lead on research, service development and audit. Strong links exist with the local Higher Education Institutes this provides opportunities for our ACPs to develop their teaching and education skills as part of their role. You will have professional development time and weekly teaching which is provided by the Consultant team within WTWA. The successful candidate will be educated to master's level, including independent non-medical prescribing. Our aim is to provide a multidisciplinary approach to frailty care maintaining quality and efficiency of services, and improving care pathways, delivering a truly person-centered service.
