The ACP is expected to work within their sphere of competence, using advanced clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice and effective risk management to deliver safe, high-quality care across a broad range of ages, conditions and complexity. The ACP contributes to the delivery and development of high-quality services through leadership, education, quality improvement, research and clinical governance activities in line with local and national priorities.
