An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our At-Risk Mental State (ARMS) Service in North Kent. We are seeking a dynamic clinician who holds a recognised Advanced Clinical Practice qualification and is a fully qualified Independent Prescriber. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality assessment, intervention, and clinical leadership within this specialist early intervention pathway You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, which comprises of Nurses, Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and a range of non-registered health care roles. You will work within a defined scope of practice and to agreed clinical standards applied within the local setting. The role will be multi factorial, including clinical assessment, formulation, non-medical prescribing and holistic treatments and will improve the quality of and access to health care provision and strengthen professional leadership, supporting the development and practice of junior clinicians. The role will involve inter agency working. The role will be structured around four core functions,

  • Carry out and coordinate comprehensive, systematic holistic assessments which take account of relevant mental, physical, social, cultural, psychological, spiritual, and environmental factors, in partnership with service user and others through interaction, observation and measurement.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines, service user and their carers to formulate and agree a holistic person-centred care plan that addresses the needs identified through assessment.
  • Deliver and evaluate safe, person centred care in partnership with the service user and their carers to support recovery.
  • Act as a clinical leader supporting the development of best practice in line with trust policy and NICE guidance.
  • Facilitate and review approved Quality Improvement initiatives within the care setting
