Practice Plus Group is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to join our Out of Hours team and make a real difference in the community. Practice Plus Group is a leading provider of urgent care services across the UK, committed to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients when they need it most outside of regular GP hours. For a map of all our locations please Click Here We can offer a range of sessions to allow you to flexibly choose the right shift pattern for you. In OOH we assess and treat patients who require urgent unscheduled intervention suitable for treatment by general practice clinicians when the GP surgeries are closed. Our referrals come from either 111, via a dedicated health care professional line used by paramedics and district nursing teams or from the AED or MIU.
We can offer both Self Employed (LTD Company or Sole Trader) or Bank (PAYE) contracts for this role., Deliver comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with urgent healthcare needs. - Conduct consultations from the clinical base, providing face-to-face care in a fully equipped environment. - Assisting with telephone triage calls when there are lower levels of face-to-face consultations booked. Manage telephone triage, providing expert clinical advice, risk assessment, and directing patients to appropriate care pathways. - Work autonomously while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, patient-centred care. - Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to Practice Plus Group policies and NHS guidelines to uphold high standards of care.
