It is an exciting time to join the service. The team is expanding, and we're looking for a highly skilled Advanced Clinician Practitioner from either Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Pharmacy Professional background with relevant professional registration and ACP qualification. You will join us in providing leadership to deliver high-quality, person-centred assessments and support for adults across the region and be passionate about transforming neurodevelopmental care for adults and play a key role in shaping a forward-thinking, values-driven service. You will be responsible for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems and assess their health care needs, based on highly developed health knowledge and skills, including physical examination skills., As the Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be expected to:

  • Lead on the completion of comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments for adults.
  • Use your prescribing qualification to support safe, effective treatment pathways within the wider team
  • Contribute to clinical leadership, service development, and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled, supportive MDT committed to innovation and compassionate care
  • Help shape the future of neurodevelopmental services in South Staffordshire

  • A qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (must have completed Masters ACP).
  • Professional Registration in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Pharmacy.
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental assessment, mental health, or related clinical fields.
  • A reflective, forward-thinking clinician who values co-production and evidence-based practice.
  • Be excited about service development and leadership.

  • Independent prescribing qualification
  • Therapeutic psychological interventions qualification, Evidence of working effectively at a senior level in a community multi-disciplinary health and social care setting (mental health)
  • Experience of working with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies
  • Evidence of promoting research, evidence based practice, clinical excellence and quality approaches to support outcome focussed care, Knowledge of various approaches to mental health assessment Awareness of basic research methodology
  • Skills in assessing, planning and evaluating mental health care/treatment interventions
  • Skills in co-ordinating complex care and ability to coordinate and deliver teaching programs and skills in teaching and assessing/working independently.
  • An ability to co-ordinate, develop and deliver a program of health promotion interventions to patients
