Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Advanced Audiologist / Advanced Clinical Scientist (Audiology) to join our community audiology services within the Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals. This is an exciting opportunity to take a role in delivering high quality, specialist audiology services across community sites, working with a diverse and complex patient population.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy, contributing specialist expertise across diagnostics, rehabilitation and service development, while supporting education, training and continuous service improvement. The role offers excellent opportunities for professional development within a highly regarded, academically led NHS Trust., The post holder will manage a highly specialist and complex adult audiology caseload, providing advanced assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for patients with hearing, balance and tinnitus disorders. You will deliver evidence-based care in line with national standards, ensuring excellent patient experience and outcomes.

You will take an advanced role within the service, supporting clinical governance, protocol development, staff supervision and training. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across ENT, Audiovestibular Medicine and community services, you will contribute to service development, quality improvement, education and research, while helping to ensure safe, effective and efficient service delivery across community sites.
