Introduction

Fresh Start Project CIC seeks an Adult Wellbeing Support Apprentice to help residents develop daily living and independent living skills. Working alongside experienced staff in a supportive, person-centred environment, you will promote wellbeing, build confidence, and use a trauma-informed approach to support independence.



About the Employer

Fresh Start Project CIC supports homeless males to overcome life challenges to promote inclusion and break down barriers to help our clients gain the best outcomes possible by ensuring that they can live independently learn skills and provide support to transition into their own tenancy. 

We help clients to manage their appointments provide access into services such as GP and service by ensuring that they live healthy, safe lifestyles by teaching independent living skills such as budgeting, healthy living, accessing the benefits system and by accessing external agencies.



What You'll Do

As an Adult wellbeing support Apprentice, you will be part of the team at Fresh Start CIC, supporting individuals in a caring, inclusive, and recovery-focused environment while completing your Level 2 Apprenticeship.

You will gain hands-on experience and develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the service to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment
  • Maintaining health and safety Adhering to HMO licence regulation
  • Encouraging and supporting individuals to take part in activities that promote independence, confidence, and social inclusion
  • Completing all fire prevention documentation
  • Assisting with meal preparation, serving food, and supporting individuals to eat and drink where required
  • Promoting independence by encouraging individuals to develop life skills and make choices about their daily lives
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control
  • Keeping accurate records and updating care plans in line with organisational policies
  • Communicating effectively with individuals, colleagues, families, and external professionals
  • Following safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures at all times

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive structured training and support to help you grow in confidence and develop your career within the adult social care sector.



Training Outcome

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to employment and progression on to further training.

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Working 4-5 shifts a week on a 7 day rota running Monday - Sunday. Shifts. To be confirmed, any time between 8.00am - 8.00pm.
