Full Job Description

We are looking for a results driven Operations Manager to lead our Adult Social Care income and debt collection team maximising recoveries to help protect essential frontline services for the city's most vulnerable residents. This is a senior operational role with real accountability and an opportunity to shape the team going forward. If you enjoy turning data into action and leading a team through improvement and change this is the role for you. You'll take ownership of performance and service quality across Adult Social Care collections. Leading your team you'll use insight, strong controls and smart processes to drive recovery improvement while keeping fairness, inclusion and customer experience front and centre. You'll manage external partners, including legal and collection providers and contribute to policies, Cabinet reports and corporate priorities.

  • Senior leadership experience in a complex ASC or recovery environment
  • Strong background in income collection or debt recovery
  • Proven success improving performance and leading change
  • Confidence with data and senior stakeholders
  • Resilience and credibility in a political or public-sector setting
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Adult Social Care Collections Manager, or someone looking to make that next career step. You'll also be an integral part of the Services' senior leadership team and contribute to the overall running of the service.
