We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate ACL Lecturer (Crochet for Wellbeing). The post is for 2 hours per week, for short courses of 6 weeks. - Classroom teaching and tutorial work.
- All associated organisational and administrative work, preparation and marking and appropriate student welfare and academic counselling responsibilities;
- Making a full contribution to the team approach to learning and teaching.
- Implementing a student-centred negotiated learning programme in accordance with the College's curriculum framework.
- Ensuring that students are informed of what is expected of them at every stage of their programme and that an awareness of what the programme involves is a feature of all reviews undertaken with students.
- Ensuring that appropriate assignments, tasks and activities are regularly set and assessed and that feedback is given to students in ways that will allow them to develop and achieve progression.
Experience in crocheting - Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines within a busy environment
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Open minded to the cultures, views and experiences of others and values diversity
- Previous teaching experience or has supported apprentices in the workplace Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English & Maths.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training, desirable Ideal Attributes:

- Innovative and creative approach to work
