What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with each resident’s individual care plan.
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility while promoting their independence wherever possible.
- Encourage residents’ emotional wellbeing through meaningful activities, companionship and social interaction.
- Protect each resident’s dignity, privacy and rights at all times.
- Complete light housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with residents, their families and colleagues.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and confidentiality procedures.
- Accurately record and report any changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing.
Training Outcome
There is the opportunity to progress into a permanent, full-time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.
