Adoption Community and Peer Support Coordinator

Permanence Support Coordinator - Adopt Thames Valley Join Adopt Thames Valley and play a key role in supporting adopted children, adoptive families and others affected by adoption across the Thames Valley region. Working within the specialist Permanence Support Team, you will help coordinate and develop a range of peer support opportunities, events and group activities designed to strengthen relationships, reduce isolation and improve outcomes for adopted children and families. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established and highly valued regional adoption service. Your role will include organising and attending support groups and family events, maintaining and developing the peer support offer, supporting service delivery and working closely with Team Managers to ensure the highest standards of support are provided. Adopt Thames Valley (ATV) is a regional adoption agency hosted by Oxfordshire County Council, bringing together seven local authorities to deliver high-quality adoption and permanence services across the Thames Valley. Since launching in 2017, ATV has been committed to supporting adoptive families, adopted children, birth relatives and adults affected by adoption through specialist, therapeutic and relationship-focused services.
