Full Job Description
- To provide a welcoming and professional front of house Reception Service for students, staff and visitors.
- Act as the first point of contact, handling enquiries from the public, students and staff in line with safeguarding protocols
- Operate the college switchboard efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all callers
- Provide excellent customer service across in-person, phone and digital channels
- Respond to course enquiries accurately, clearly and within agreed time frames
- Support admissions processes for 16-19, adult and Higher Education applications
- Process student applications, ensuring accurate, secure data entry and maintenance
- Produce reports from admissions systems and follow up with applicants on missing information
- Coordinate interview arrangements, including issuing letters and maintaining applicant records
- Assist with enrolment processes and student on boarding activities
- Maintain accurate records, statistics and electronic data in line with GDPR requirements
- Complete administrative tasks to support admissions and reception services
- Use and support college systems effectively
- Work collaboratively within the team to deliver a high-quality applicant and student experience
- Support college events such as Open Evenings, Welcome Days and Advice Sessions
- Promote and uphold safeguarding responsibilities for children, young people and vulnerable adults
- Demonstrate flexibility during peak periods (e.g. enrolment and events)
- Undertake additional duties as required, including working across college sites as needed Partnerships and Reputation
- Ensure that the college develops and maintains a constructive relationship with appropriate external stakeholders relevant to the potholder's areas of responsibility. Health and Safety
