Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit five experienced and enthusiastic Admissions Officers to work in our large central admissions team, which manages applications to programmes across UCL. The posts will typically be focused on undergraduate applications within one of our Faculty Teams.

The successful candidate will have experience of admissions in a higher education setting with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. The nature of the work requires an individual with good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have the ability to learn and adhere to procedures as well as observe regulations to deliver a fair and transparent admissions process. You will possess the ability to work effectively as part of a team and to manage your own time effectively.

The Undergraduate and ITE Admissions Office is responsible for all admissions to UCL's undergraduate degree, affiliate and Teacher Training programmes. It handles approximately 100,000 applications per cycle and is responsible for admitting approximately 9,000 undergraduate and 1,000 ITE students in each academic year. The Admissions function is critical in ensuring that UCL secures the desired number of students to meet UCL's aspirations in terms of securing and maintaining a well-qualified, balanced student body and associated tuition fee income.
