We are currently recruiting an Admissions Assistant to assist the Admissions team in providing an efficient service to prospective pupils/students, and their families., We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Room Leader to join our friendly nursery team in the Under 2s room in Lingfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the early experiences of children, in a nurturing environment where wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. What you'll be doing You'll play an active role in the day-to-day life of the nursery, working closely with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn., We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated practitioner to join our Prep School team as Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to make a meaningful impact and support outstanding teaching and learning across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in pupils' academic progress, pastoral development and wider school life within a warm, supportive and ambitious independent school environment. You will work closely with class teachers to assist in the smooth running of the classroom which will include planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes to encourage pupils to become independent learners and to provide support for their welfare. You will supervise whole classes where required for PPA time or for short-term absence of teachers., To perform and assist in a variety of tasks, including cleaning, washing, food preparation, carrying and other manual duties as requested by the Head Chef.,
- To clean and wash up all kitchen and service items in an efficient manner.
- To assist in the preparation of food as required.
- To keep the kitchen areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
- To operate some heavy equipment according to manufactures instructions (full training will be provided).
- To attend health and safety and food safety training courses as required.
- To ensure cleaning areas under Kitchen Porters' control are maintained to the company and COSHH standards.
- To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules. This is predominantly a Monday to Friday position but will involve evening and weekend working to support with school events.
The role is a busy one requiring the ideal candidate to have strong administrative and organisational skills, an ability to multitask, and excellent computer and digital skills, particularly with Office 365. The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional approach to work and remain calm under pressure. Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential., We're looking for someone with experience in an early years setting who brings energy, warmth and a genuine passion for working with young children. You'll need a relevant childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3), excellent communication skills and the confidence to work on your own initiative, as well as a team-focused mindset and a positive, can-do attitude., This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is motivated to provide a fun and stimulating environment for the children. Ideally you will have a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, and be familiar with the Early Years and Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculums. Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment would be an advantage.
We are looking for qualified and unqualified nursery staff to join our Bank Staff at Lingfield College to help with short-term or ad hoc cover.
Salary: Competitive starting salary, which can be discussed at interview. Hours: This role is a fixed-term contract in the first instance, from September 2026 to March 2027, working 4 days per week., The role is full time, working all year round. The nursery is open Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6.00pm, and hours are worked on a shift basis within these times.
