Full Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organised and professional Administrative and Reception Assistant to join our busy school office team. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines reception duties with administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school. The successful candidate will provide a welcoming first point of contact for visitors, parents and external agencies while supporting a wide range of administrative functions across the school.

Working closely with colleagues, you will assist with reception services, telephone and email enquiries, data entry, record keeping, correspondence, event administration and maintaining school information systems. You will also support the administration team during busy periods and contribute to the effective running of office procedures and systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively and professionally. A flexible and proactive approach, together with a commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people, is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in providing an efficient, professional and welcoming service to our school community

Bramcote College is a friendly, inclusive and multicultural place to work and study. We secured a well-deserved Good judgement in February 2024, and achievement is on a secure upward trend. Our students are well-behaved and motivated. "Classrooms are calm and orderly. Around school, pupils are polite and respectful" - Ofsted 2024. We have excellent support from parents and the community, and a talented and positive staff team. We are ambitious for every student and provide high-quality pastoral care and support, as well as outstanding enrichment opportunities for our students and the local community. We are committed to excellent professional development for all. Continued school improvement is supported by membership of The White Hills Park Trust. A new school will be built over the next two years, with anticipated completion Easter 2028.

"There are high aspirations for all pupils at Bramcote College. The school's motto encourages pupils to 'Work hard, Be well, Do well.' Pupils are happy and appreciate the opportunities that the school gives them." Ofsted 2024.
