Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Diabetes Intermediate Care team, based at Parkgate House in Taunton. The successful candidate will work as part of a small admin team to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the clinical team. Main duties of the job To work as part of the Diabetes Intermediate Care Service team completing comprehensive administrative duties including (but not limited to) typing, scanning, filing, managing post, answering calls and minuting meetings. To ensure effective communication and courtesy at all times, supporting the multi professional team members and generally assisting in the coordination of the smooth running of the team as a whole. The post holder will act as an ambassador for the organisation, exercising initiative in responding to requests for information or requiring action. - ECDL or equivalent (or equivalent/working towards)
- RSA/OCR III or equivalent typing/word processing including audio typing
- Good standard of general education -- GCSEs including English Desirable
- Diploma level/NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent Experience Essential
- Ability to set up and maintaining office systems
- Knowledge of information technology packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint in order to complete tasks
- Previous administration experience Person Specification Qualifications Essential
